Beautiful gallery of birds photos. Stunning detail and I also own this combo of D300 and Nikon D300, Nikolay. Bulgaria have so many wildlife birds shooting that you showed us. I want to send to your direct email but had some problem. I have a question. Now I am tossing between Nikon D600 or D800. What are their performance in term of focusing action birds photos.? Would you advise which camera should I get as I am shooting landscape sometimes. Thanks!!!

    Hi Graeme,

Yes, D300 is a superb camera. It is also called the small D3, as under 400 ISO it performs almost like Nikon D3.

AS for the question – if the money is not an issue for you, grab D800E – it outperforms the D600 in almost every aspect. A friend of mine has it for wildlife and it totally rocks! If I have the money I will definitely get Nikon D800E!

Sorry for the late reply, I do not login in the admin panel very often.
